Coral Sky Gala - Launch St. LouisWe’re thrilled to say that the first annual Coral Sky gala, held on Saturday, November 5th at the Thaxton in downtown St. Louis was a huge success. Along with our guests, Launch celebrated the culmination of a two-year partnership with Friends of Kids with Cancer. Over the past two years Launch has helped raise nearly $25,000 and fuel an energetic group of young professionals that has become their own young friends group. At the gala, Launch also announced the commencement of our next partnership with the Friends of the SLU Liver Center.

The night began with a V.I.P. reception at 7:30 in the upper terrace that included a sushi bar courtesy of Tani Sushi Bistro, chocolate and wine pairings and a private bar. The event jumped into full swing around 9:00 Launch St. Louis and Friends of Kids with Cancer Coral Sky Galawhen the remaining guests began filtering in. Guests were greeted at the door with a champagne toast and a step-and-repeat photo op on the orange carpet. The main level of The Thaxton featured dueling pianos, and as the evening carried on, much of the crowd moved to the lower level’s “boom boom room” to dance the night away.

Midway through the evening, President of Launch St. Louis, Kevin Haar presented an oversized check in the amount of $24,919 to Executive Director of Friends of

Thank you to all of our sponsors, guests and partners for helping make this evening a huge success. We couldn’t have pulled it off without you.
